Welcome to Bruach Cottage Bruach Cottage is an old property of real character, converted from a 19th Century Coach House built with traditional solid stone walls. It is situated on a leafy lane, just a very short walk from the centre of the town (click here for map). The Cottage has been fully renovated and meets Visit Scotland four star standard, and has benefited from full redecoration, a new kitchen and double glazing to bring it up to an excellent specification, yet it still retains all the charm and character which make it so special. The cottage is an ideal base to explore Pitlochry and rural Perthshire and is perfect to return to for some relaxation after a day out enjoying the Highland scenery and attractions. Pitlochry is a small town in the heart of rural Perthshire, and is set on the
banks of the River Tummel, amid beautiful mountain peaks. These offer
opportunities for gentle and strenuous walks or perhaps a spot of Munro
bagging. Cyclists are well catered for with plenty routes to choose from, and the
local well stocked bike hire / accessories shop is less than a minute from the
cottage.
The scenic attractions of the area are world renowned, with nearby delights such
as Queen's View on Loch Tummel, Blair Castle, Ben Lawers, Cairngorm National
Park, Aberfeldy and Braemar................to name but a few!
The town comes alive with colour every summer as part of
the annual Pitlochry in Bloom efforts - the picture to the
right shows just a small part of the summer colours which
are to be found spread around the town.
The scenery and the numerous amenities and activities in
and around the area make Bruach Cottage our "Little Bit
