Beautiful scenery abounds here, and the walk to the top of Ben Lawers is made easier by
the fact that you can start from the car park at the visitor centre at about 400 meters.

The Scottish Crannog Centre is situated on Loch Tay at Kenmore
and gives an insight into the history of these ancient water based
dwellings

Pitlochry is situated within easy daily driving distance
of the main ski areas of

Cycling

there is an abundance of on and off road routes around
Pitlochry, and a well stocked bike hire and supplies shop
in the town. Under an hour by car to the north at Laggan  
is
Wolftrax, with nearly 35km of graded trails
Canoeing

Around 20 minutes away by car, at Grandtully, is
a whitewater canoe slalom course on the river Tay.
Fishing

Walking routes suitable for all levels of experience and
fitness are available, from short and easy to long and very
