The courtyard is triangular in shape and sits to the rear of the cottage. It is
very sheltered, with a hedge along one side and a wall along the other side.
Entry is from the lounge.
A real sun trap on good days, and a nice place to enjoy the sun set while
sipping a glass of wine!

Although not large, the courtyard is full of interesting features, and the
planted areas are packed with shrubs and plants.
There are four individual chairs and two tables - enough for full occupancy.

We made the new courtyard gate ourselves - we think the previous one
must have been the original as it fell to bits shortly after we bought the
cottage.
Hope you like the little heart carved in it !
Looking back into the lounge from outside - al fresco living, and easy
access if you want to dine out in the courtyard.
