Lounge
A bright and comfortable room overlooking the courtyard, and which catches
the sun throughout the day. This room is well furnished with two sofas. There
is a bookcase stocked with DVDs, games and a selection of books. Satellite
channels are available on the flat screen TV. There are plenty occasional
tables.
There is a collection of original water colours of local scenes together with
photographs of the local area, which finish this room off nicely.

Main Bedroom
A lovely room with a window to the side, overlooking the lane. This room has a
laminate floor and is finished tastefully in Black Watch tartan, and with matching
rugs to either side of the bed. The room has a wall mounted flat screen TV with digital
channels. There is a wardrobe with hanging and drawer space, along with a dressing
table and stool.
A hairdryer is provided in this room and, remember, all bed linen is provided and is
included in the price you pay.

the birds in the courtyard while we are eating at the table.

Courtyard
Small but perfectly formed! The courtyard is quite secluded and sits to the rear of the
property, overlooked from the cottage Lounge and Kitchen, and accessed from the
Lounge. There is a range of mature plants and shrubs, and being triangular in shape it
is bounded by the cottage to one side and hedging and a wall with ivy on the other
sides. There is a gate to Garden Cottage next door - when the cottages are both
occupied by one large party we leave the gate open to allow ready access between the
two cottages. Otherwise the gate is kept closed.
The courtyard is a real suntrap in good weather, and there is seating for four to
enable our guests to enjoy the full benefit of this.
